The Rollei f: x per medium GND is a Gray gradient filter, also Graduated neutral density filter called. The tint runs in the event of a course of the course (Coating) to one side. The medium can be used for these motifs:

• Mixed urban motifs (houses with water, bridges and sky)
• Mountains with forest, sky and sun
• Overall motifs in which the horizon line is rather uneven

GNDS are used for motifs in which the brightness relationships have a certain course and therefore need different exposure for an evenly exposed image. The classic location of a medium GND is, for example, the admission of an inner city that has many different elements and brightness and must therefore be classified exactly between hard and soft GND.
